It's used at a rate of 500 grams per ton of feed, often from the first day of life for broilers, and is typically withdrawn 5 days before slaughter. Coccidiosis Prevention: Salinomycin 12% helps prevent coccidiosis in poultry, a common parasitic infection. Broiler Chickens: It's frequently used in broiler chickens from the first day of life to prevent coccidiosis.
